The predator season is here! Here’s Bob’s guide to getting your soft lures to sit perfectly on a jig head, every time! .
- Line up your jig head with your soft bait, the bend of the jig head needs to be approximately a third of the way down the lure.
- Mark the back of the soft bait using the hook where the bend is at its deepest.
- Thread the lure onto the jig head, be careful to make sure the lure stays straight and the back of the lure is facing the shank of the hook.
- Once the point reaches the mark you made earlier, push the point out and straighten the lure on the hook.
- Push the nose of the lure tight up to the weight of the jig head and its job done!
